Ivan Grech Live in Concert on 19 August

Ivan Grech, frontman of Winter Moods has launched his first solo concert, which will take place at Pjazza Teatru Rjal, Valletta on Friday 19 August. Tickets are available for sale online through www.showshappening.com.

Ivan has promised a different kind of concert where besides performing memorable hits he wrote with Winter Moods, he will also be covering songs that left an impact and influenced him through the years.

“This is quite a huge step for me, something I have been meaning to do for a long time. This concert will be a musical journey through time, where I will sing songs that motivated me to get into music and songwriting, songs that influenced my music career and make up the soundtrack of my life,” said Ivan.

“I will take the audience through some evergreen classics from the 60s to the 90s, from Pete Seeger to Depeche Mode, from Elvis to U2 and much more. I will be performing songs that people surely know and will sing along to.”

Ivan will be accompanied Jeremy Micallef and David Cassar Torregiani on guitars, Conrad Dimech on guitars and keyboards, David Ciantar on keyboards, Robert Galea on bass and Raphael Tonna on drums. The backing vocalists will be Dario Bezzina and Amanda Dimech. Some special guests will also join Ivan on this special night.

“I have been wanting to hold a concert at Pjazza Teatru Rjal for a while, I think the intimate setting vis-à-vis some of the bigger spaces where I performed with Winter Moods, will make this a very special experience,” concluded Ivan.

The concert is presented by Jack Daniels, sponsored by Coca Cola and Hard Rock Café, and supported by Renault, Hamilton Travel, Mayfair Clinic, Easygas, Global College, and Arkadia.

For further information one can follow Ivan on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

This concert is organized by Striped Sox.
