Winter Moods Followers Choose New Song For Radio Play

‘Sun Won’t Shine’ the song that opened Winter Moods’ concert at the Granaries in July 2010 can now be heard on all radio stations. Listen to it here.

‘Sun Won’t Shine’ was chosen as the new song for radio play by the band’s followers on Facebook.

‘We asked our friends on Facebook, which song they would like to start hearing on the radio and the overall favourite was Sun Won’t Shine. It has become popular with many since we released Argento,’ said Ivan Grech, frontman of Winter Moods.

‘Sun Won’t Shine’ was recently reviewed by Jackie Hayden – the man who signed the legendary U2 to their first record deal. In his column in the Irish music magazine Hot Press he wrote, ‘Opener ‘Sun Won’t Shine’ could be an outtake from The Joshua Tree. It has a robust vocal and a fine sense of drama.’

Listen to Sun Won’t Shine here. It is also available for download via iTunes, Amazon and www.emusic.com.

‘Sun Won’t Shine’ was produced by David Vella at Temple Studios, mixed by Luuk Cox and mastered by John Davis at Metropolis  Studios in London, who in the past has worked with U2, Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Kaiser Chiefs and Led Zepplin.

Winter Moods have recently announced their first concert for 2011 which will take place on the 27th May in Ghaxaq Grounds, Ghaxaq, which will also feature special guests Chasing Pandora.

Winter Moods are supported by Vodafone Malta Limited, Malta International Airport, Hamilton Travel, KIA Motor, Pulse Fitness Studio and Olimpus.
